Boarding and breeding

We offer full and part boarding, and as a stud farm we can look after breeding too. Every horse is different, so we work out the details with each owner.

Boarding

We offer full and part boarding. What's included depends on your horse and what you need, so we'll talk it through with you before your horse arrives and agree it in writing.

You're welcome to visit your horse any day.

Breeding

Castle Field is a stud farm, and horses bred here have gone on to win races.

We can look after the breeding side for you, from mares and stallions through to youngstock. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll talk it through.

Moving your horse here

  1. Get in touch

Tell us about your horse and what you're looking for. We'll let you know if we have space.

  2. Come and see the yard

See where your horse would live and meet us. You don't have to decide on the day.

  3. Sort the paperwork

We need up-to-date vaccination and worming records. You can keep your horse's passport, but we may need it from time to time. We'll agree the terms in writing.

  4. Settling in

New horses are settled in at their own pace before going out with others.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost?

When can I come out to see my horse?

Any day, between 9am and 5pm. Let us know if you need to come outside those times.
